Super Mario Odyssey Review: Best Super Mario Game Ever Made

Nintendo is a true gaming company which has brought a lot of memorable and remarkable games for the players all over the world. I’ve played many games from Nintendo in my childhood few of which still remain my favorite like Super Mario. Well, if you have ever played video games, you know who Super Mario is. A smiling face with a huge mustache covering his lips and who jumps on birds and flying turtles, fights a dragon to save the princess, remember him? But at the end of October, Nintendo released a new installment to the Mario series, Super Mario Odyssey for Nintendo Switch and which is by far one of the greatest game of all time and the best Mario game till date.

Super Mario Odyssey Plot

There is nothing much to expect from the story of the game. It is same like the other ones, neither very complex nor very simple. However, keeping the young players of Nintendo Switch in mind, the game is pretty simple to understand.

The game starts with a long introduction to the story before you actually start playing it. The developers knew that there is nothing kept in the story, but it is the gameplay which makes a game entertaining. This explains why the game does not possess an outstanding storyline.

The story starts with Mario boarding the Bowser’s airship. He is after Bowser, a giant overgrown turtle who has kidnapped Princess Peach once again. He again wishes to marry her and Mario takes it on himself to stop it from happening. I expected a new plot this time, but reviving the old plot with better and new gameplay is what we see in this game. They both fight with each other but soon Mario is sent under the clouds where he falls without control leaving his cap and the Princess behind.

Mario lands in the Cap Kingdom, a terrifying place where you meet the Cappy.  Cappy is a big ugly looking being who is also called a Boneneter. He also tells Mario that his sister has been kidnapped by Bowser as well and he left the Cap Kingdom in ruins.

We see different items coming from various kingdoms to realize that Bowser is actually in process of marrying Princess Peach. You also see the wedding planners, the Broodals, who are are huge rabbit henchman evil in nature. The come as the mid-bosses between you and Bowser.

But luckily, Cappy has the power to possess the objects as well as sentient beings around you. So he comes along with Mario to rescue Princess Peach from the Bowser by taking form on your Cap. Yeah, we did miss the cap while Mario didn’t wear it. Then they discover a working airship using which both, Mario and Cappy travel from one kingdom to another in pursuit of Bowser and facing his henchmen rabbits, but causing chaos and madness everywhere they go.

Features and Gameplay

Initially, the player is offered with different types of playing style. However, the company recommends you to play is at your home with each Joycon in each and so that you can easily enjoy the motion controlled actions as well. However, this does not stop you from playing it in handheld more or using a Pro controller or JoyCon.

For people who do not want to think too much about the game and rather focus on enjoying it, there is an Assist mode. Assist mode keeps the player from falling off the map as well as also tells the direction where you need to head from where are in the game. Obviously, they have this mode keeping in mind the small kids that will play the game. Some gamers might not like this inclusion, but after all, Mario is a game that will still target the current children. It would be bad if half of the young growing children don’t play this game just because they can find a way. After all, they are kids.

But on the other side, there is a co-op mode available as well on the menu by which any of your family or friends can join in controlling Cappy, but you will have to bear capless Mario for some time then.

You learn the basic controls as soon as you start the journey in the first kingdom, learn them well as you are going to use them in the entire game. These basic moves include running, jumping, somersaults, making triple jump etc.

To bring up the map, you just need to press the small button. Not only the map displays your location as well as also acts as a small handy guidebook that contains all the information that you might be looking for and also of the people living on each side of it. The players also have an option to warp to any of the flagged checkpoints that you have already discovered.

There is a Crazy Cap shop in each and every kingdom that the players can use in order to purchase any kind of souvenirs or items. The shop also gets you different outfits, extra health, and caps. You can use the coins as well as the local currency to purchase these items.

There are hint paintings scattered around the kingdoms as well that you can find in the way of your adventure. These paintings act as portals taking Mario to a whole new world. The best thing that we liked about this game was that the players can throw the Cappy or the Cap to interact with creatures, other beings, and objects. You can capture these objects as well as enemies just by tossing your cap.

Power Moons and the Captures

In the game, Marios also has the ability to possess the body of other beings. The very first character you will possess is a frog. All in all, there are 52 targets in total that you need to capture in the entire game. The best part is that each and every character has a different gameplay. Some of them might be even specific to particular kingdoms, which in turn makes the game even more unique.

As you possess a character, you get some unique abilities as well which include fishing, lightning sparks, high jump, the T. rex etc. The player needs to use these abilities along with swapping different forms in order to solve the puzzles in the game, discover new areas and mainly to defeat different kingdom bosses.

The player also needs to collect the Power Moons in the game. You can find many of them scattered around in the different kingdoms.  Power Moons are the main power source of the Odyssey. You need them in order to use them as fuel for your airship to travel from kingdom to kingdom.

There is a huge difference in the kingdoms as well. You will find a color food land, a tropical island full of dinosaurs, a modern city and what not. They also differ in size and it falls upon the player whether he wishes to stick to the missions or go for the Power Moons exploring kingdoms before accomplishing your goal. You will find different interesting characters in the kingdom as well, along with various collectibles, secrets and a huge area to explore.

There are other ways to earn Power Moons as well. You can get them as rewards for completing a challenge on time or in the objects or sometimes right under your feet. You get it as rewards as well for just walking in the perfect circle or for herding sheeps or from the slot machine, growing plants etc.

You are definitely going to need them a lot and that is why we are focusing more on the Power Moons. The main fun of the game lies in the exploration and for that, you need the Power Moons.

Different kingdoms have hidden doors which take you to different segments of the game with new challenges and puzzles.

Graphics

Super Mario Odyssey has beautiful graphics. Definitely, Nintendo Switch is not a super powerful console like PS4 or Xbox One, but still, it offers great details in the game. The developers have tried their best to include realism in the game. You can see the shine off the body of Mario after he comes out of the water.

There is just a mini-map that is on one corner and along with that you also see your health, local currency count as well as coins on the screen while playing. On the performance side, the game runs flawlessly on both the handheld device as well as on the TV.  You are definitely going to miss the motion gestures in the handheld mode, but that is not much a loss.

The Verdict

All in all, Super Mario Odyssey is an amazing game that we have seen since long. They have taken the old super Mario and have re-created it with complete genius making it one of the most enjoyable, varied, adventure full and fun video game which is available for Nintendo Switch in the market right now. It won't be wrong to say that it is the best 3D platformer game that has been ever made.

The game is perfect and is a must play the game if you have Nintendo Switch. If you do not own a Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Odyssey is a good reason to get one for you this holiday season.

WHO Declares Excessive Gaming as a Disease in ICD

There is a big question to all the gamers out there, could playing video game lead to any kind of health disorder? Well, soon it is going to be as WHO (World Health Organization) is going to declaring excessive gaming a disorder in 2018.

Yes, too much gaming will soon be made a disease in the Classification of Diseases manual, which is published by none other than WHO. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) is a professional manual which is referred by health professionals all over the world for defining the standard definitions of different types of health conditions. However, it has been long since the manual was updated with new diseases, to be precise, it was last updated in the year 1990, 27 years from now.

The next, as well as the eleventh edition of the Diagnostic manual, will be released next year in 2018, and along with many disorders and health issues, gaming disorder will also have a mention as a serious health condition that should be monitored.

This is definitely new for most of us as we have never even thought excessive gaming and overnight extended gaming sessions as a dangerous health condition. The exact working of gaming disorder is still not revealed. But if we believe the reports from New Scientists, there is a draft that tells us the symptoms and other criteria to decide whether a person is suffering from gaming disorder or not.

The draft says that gaming can start as a hobby, but too much of it makes it a lot more than that for the players. It becomes really dangerous when people are not able to control themselves to decide how often they start playing and start ignoring other important things like sleep, food and other oral hygiene for it. It also said that sometime for some people gaming and games take over their personal life and gets into the way creating problem or distractions in their day to day activities. It seems that people who are addicted to playing video games can’t hold themselves and nothing can stop them from playing, even if they are fired from their jobs for skipping too many work days.

The WHO draft says, “The behaviour pattern is of sufficient severity to result in significant impairment in personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other important areas of functioning. The pattern of gaming behaviour may be continuous or episodic and recurrent.”

The gamers are always going to defend themselves saying that it's not that serious as it looks. But spending 12-18 hours in front of the TV screen is definitely going to harm your body as well as your mind. You might not believe us but in 2015, a man in Taiwan was dead due to cardiac arrest after playing a video game for three consecutive days, exhaustion being the main reason behind it. But that does not make video games wrong. They are still the best stress busters, great entertainment, and fun.

God of War III: Remastered PlayStation 4 Review

If you are really a gamer as well as an RPG game lover, you must have played the God of War game earlier. There have been six games released under the God of War franchise, each one of which is really great to play with superb storylines. However, if you have just started playing the third part, the God of War III starts with the Kratos which has been wronged again and again by the gods and are on a cusp of defeating Zeus, who is the king of gods residing on the Mount Olympus. The whole story has been developed from the depth of Greek Mythology. The Kratos is taking the help of behemoths so that they could help them to ascend the huge Mount Olympus and to the Zeus stronghold. In his journey, he comes face to face with many other gods and creatures which should be defeated before you can face Zeus himself.

On playing the God of War III: Remastered on PlayStation 4, it did not look like the game is 5 years old. However, the textures and graphics of the game are not as great as you see in the modern titles. Still, the PlayStation 4 power makes it to juice out some extra textures making it better as you might have played on the PlayStation 3. Various moments in the game are really great in these textures too, like the Titan siege on the top of the Mount Olympus and the Cronos battle, we were really astonished to play that on PlayStation 4. You will also find it addictive and entertaining to kill the enemies with a lot of animations and finishing moves. The variation and complexity of the weapons and magic are not very complex, but the simple ones possessed by Kratos are enough to tear, hack and slash the enemies cutting them into pieces.

In the first look at the game, we see the resurrections of Kratos and that too seeing kind of unnecessary. In addition to that, the level to which you can enjoy the God of War III depends upon whether you have played the previous versions of the game as well as your relationships with the current RPGs.

In case you are playing the game for the first time, GOW III offers you the best experience, features and it’s best elements that have been there in the entire series. If you really wish to try it out because of curiosity and gameplay, without comparing it to modern titles, it is a superb RPG. However, if you have already played previous God of War games, the GOW III will surprise you with the same exciting gameplay and experience. But people who have not played it before and have played most of the recent RPG games, you could find the different elements of the game a bit outdated. The fixed camera angle and the prompts being the most annoying of them all. There will be times when the player feels and wants to look around to understand the environment, but are not allowed at all. The camera angle of every sequence is fixed and changes based on your position on the stage.

We personally liked the story. Being a curious fan of the Greek mythology, I loved the way the story has been built where you progress by killing each and every god himself and that too in a very brutal manner. The mechanics of the game might look a bit aged as well. But swinging and whipping the blades carelessly around to kill the enemies feels great and really entertaining. It truly pumps you up and brings out the destroyer inside you with too much power. You can kill thousands of enemies in other games as well, but getting the feel and enthusiasm out on your face, is what this game is good at.

The whole plot of the game revolves around the Kratos’ vengeance. For vengeance, you travel from the pits of Hades to the world of scratched plains of Tartarus and so on. We especially liked the different environments that were offered at each level, completely different from the previous one as well as very dense. You will never feel any kind of repetition or relation of the new environment with the one you’ve already crossed.

The combat mechanics are good too. You will find yourself tapping the different buttons repeatedly again and again to kill the enemies. The combos are unique as well as better when compared to DMC or Bayonetta. One big problem with such games is that the combat starts feeling repetitive after a point of time. However, God of War III keeps you fresh by keeping you on your toes all the time. There are different kinds of enemies that you will face and which requires different techniques to be used to defeat them. So mixing all of them up helps in generating various different unique scenarios during combat.

There might be times where you will lose the sight of the item which you need to interact next, all because of the fixed camera angles that could leave you frustrating at times when you are not able to find what to do next. But these moments are very few in the game and also very far from each other. So, they do not occur every now and then hindering your fun.

All in all, God of War III Remastered is an epic end of the Kratos’ Vengeance story. The mechanics of the game and gameplay is great considering it was initially released 5 years ago. But bringing it to PS4 does improve the textures, frame rate and other graphical aspects of the game. If you are a God of War fan and haven’t played this game, we recommend you to buy it for the PS4 console but in case you just plan to try out a good RPG game, God of War III Remastered is old but definitely not a bad choice.

PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds Release Date for PlayStation 4

The PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds has recently been announced for Xbox One, and there are rumors around about its availability on PlayStation 4 console. Players and fans have been claiming that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is strictly an exclusive for Xbox One console and PC only. However, reports from latest sources tell us that the game might come for the PlayStation 4 and possibly for other consoles as well.

If you believe the recent report from Bloomberg, the developers of the game, PUBG Corp. is already in talks with other console manufacturers after Microsoft, for bringing the game on to their platforms. There is also a possibility that the exclusive PUBG Xbox One deal has a time limit on it and once that gets lapsed, they will be free to bring the game to other gaming platforms.

The report said, “Microsoft Corp. will launch the title exclusively on Xbox later this year. Bluehole is in talks with Sony about introducing a version for the PlayStation after that.”

However, the thing to notice here is that the talks with other console manufacturers happened before the Bluehole created a separate division for the PUBG game development, now knows as the PUBG Corp.

Till when Can I expect PUBG on PlayStation 4?

Definitely, there is no specific date for it. It all basically depends upon the Xbox One exclusive deal that the game company has signed with Microsoft. Until the deal gets lapsed, they won’t be able to release their game to any gaming platform other than Xbox One. Looking at the popularity this game has picked up, Microsoft could not have found a better way to force the gaming lovers to pick Xbox One over other competing gaming consoles.

But there have been no detailed made available by the PUBG Corp. that tell us when this deal is going to end. This might be another clause in their agreement too, forbidding PUBG Corp. to announce the release date of the game for other platforms for quite some time. On a general basis, such deals extend up to one year. But the deal between PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds developers and Microsoft might even stretch up to two to three years.

However, we will keep you updated with any news we get on the release dates of PUBG for PlayStation 4 or any other console. But, in case you are an Xbox One owner and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds lover, the game is out now for Xbox One consoles. Get more details on PUBG for Xbox One here.

Everything you need to Know About the PUBG for Xbox One

If you have played player unknown Battleground game before then there is a good news for you. the game is now available for the Xbox One console from December 12, 2017.  The game she was launched in the month of March 2017 for PC.  till date they are sold more than 24 million game copies on steam and other sources, giving the forever classic game, i.e Dota 2, huge competition as the most played game on the steam platform. In case you have not played this game, there is nothing to worry as we are going to detail each and everything that you should know about Playerunknown’s Battleground for Xbox One in this article. however, letters start with the basics first.

What are PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds?

PlayerUnknowns BattleGrounds, which is also famous with the nickname PUBG,  is a survival Shooter multiplayer video game that has dominated the entire gaming market in 2017.  In PUBG,  more than hundred players released with a parachute on their shoulders on an island without any item or equipment except clothes. After you land in the game the players need to search for weapons, craft armors, vehicles and other items before the opponent does. The person who wins gets the “chicken dinner” as a reward along with the in-game currency which he or she could use in order to purchase other cosmetic items as well as upgrades.

Isn’t it interesting and simple. But that is the trick for which most of the players fall. The game is not simple but tricky and as you spend more and more time into the arena the area of the map you are playing in, start shrinking. Players who fail to remain inside the ring and cross to the outside, get their health damaged over time at a very fast rate. This simply means that you cannot just hide in kill each and every person on the map and will have to and face other heavily armed and loaded players to be the last man standing and winning the game. This is special feature makes the game even more fast as well as brutal with each round going for about 30 minutes. If you reach the top 10 players you are also awarded the Adrenaline Rush that makes you more powerful.

When can we Get PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox Console?

The PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available on Xbox Console now starting from 12th December, 2017. You can purchase it just for $29.99. There are different servers available on which you can play the PUBG game. Canada, as well as the United States server, are online from the 9 pm PT from December 11, 2017. You can similarly find the global release of the servers which are scheduled for the overseas players from here.

Who Developed the PUBG game for Xbox?

The PC version, as well as the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, have been developed by the same developers, i.e. the PUBG Corporation. However, while developing the game for the Microsoft Xbox One consoles, they received an additional support from the Microsoft developers as well.

The players can also take the PUBG for Xbox One as the second party Microsoft game title, coming from the PUBG Corp. This explains the reason for the support they have been receiving since it is a high profile as well as a very popular game. To be more specific, they have been helped by the Coalition team, the same team which developed the Gears of War 4 title. This is because the Coalition team already excels in various aspects of the game development like movement, aiming and supporting the controller.

Is Final Version PUBG out for Xbox One?

No, the final version of the game is still not out on the steam for the Xbox One consoles. However, we would like to put it in this way that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds s actually all the time work in progress. There are some or the other development going on which the developers keep on adding in the game from time to time.

If we look at the other side, the PC version of the game has been in the early access stage on Steam since March 2017 and PUBG Corp has been adding new features and content in the game regularly since then. There was an announcement in July, that the full final PUBG 1.0 version of the game will officially release for PC’s on December 20th, 2017.

Talking about the console version now, the PUBG is going to stay under the Xbox Game Preview program for some time now. For those who don’t know, Xbox Games Preview program is similar to Steam early access. This means that the console version might contain changes that will be unavailable in the PC version of the game. Statement coming from the Microsoft officials say that the players can expect six-month gap between the PC and the Xbox version of the game.

How does PlayerUnknown’s Battle Underground run on Xbox One?
The developers plan to make the game similar to the PC version, however, obviously along with few modifications. The PUBG runs at 30 frames per second on the Xbox One console and is also compatible with the all-new Xbox One X as well as 4K Ultra HD resolution support and HDR.

However, there is one bad news. The player playing PUBG on Xbox One console won’t be able to play with the players playing from their PC. However, the PUBG Corp has shown the interest in the past in bringing the cross-platform online multiplayer feature in the future, but there is no update on that as of now.

Most of us are really very excited to know all the game played on the Xbox One console. On PC it was very easy to control the players as well as email using a keyboard and a mouse. But that is not available and incompatible with XBox. There has been a controller support in the PC version of the game since the month of August, but most of the players prefer to play it using keyboard and mouse.

However what we feel is, the developers are going to face a very hard time in recreating the inventory system as it was present in the PC version PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds,  since the Xbox players only going to use the controller for accessing it. If you have a very little idea of a game, the player depends upon the complex weapon attachments the scopes the grapes and other important items, that one can found on the ground and attach it as fast as you can to again become the part of the game.  however there’s a complete controller set available for guiding the players, still, it will take quite a few time to get used to it if you are moving from PC to Xbox version of this game.

Is there a New Map in PUBG?

Yes, there is a new map in the PC version of the game but it is still in testing mode. The company is planning to release it with the official 1.0 PUBG version of the game on December 20th. However, this new map will not be available for the Xbox One version of the game as of now but can hit the game somewhere in the mid of next year. The players can also not climb or vault since these features will be made available along with the December 20th release of the PlayerUnknow’s Battleground. The single player first person mode is also not coming for Xbox One consoles in the launch and the fans need to wait for more time on that.

That is all we have over the PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds for Xbox One console. More details will be releasing next Wednesday day and we will be keeping you updated with all the new news over the game over the coming few weeks.

Nvidia Titan X Pascal GPU Review

Today we are going review one of the most professional level GPU from Nvidia,  Titan X Pascal graphics card.  No doubt it is one of the most powerful GPU out there, but there’s one problem with it, It is very expensive.  it is one big issue that we came across while reviewing Titan X Pascal graphics card, and you will have to pay around $1,200 for it, which is enough to make a hole in your pocket. But if money is not the problem for you, it is the most powerful and best graphics card that you can include on your PC for having the best gaming experience.

However, we would like to mention that, it is not for everyone, and not worth buying if you have a very tight budget for assembling your gaming machine.  It would be foolish to spend this much money on a single unit, where you can get a lot more other things for your CPU for $1,200. But let us discuss the price in later part of the article, and let’s look at the architecture, features, and performance that graphics card is capable of offering to the users.

Nvidia Titan X Pascal  Specifications

The Nvidia Titan X makes use of the Pascal-based architecture along with the GP102 Graphics processing unit to bring huge performance improvement while playing heavy games on your machine. There are a lot of CUDA cores to use for producing immense power. With 28 microprocessors streaming, each full with 128 CUDA cores, the total Core count reaches up to 3584, which is around 40% more when compared to the Nvidia GTX 1080.

Given below are the exact specifications of the Pascal Titan X GPU:

  • GPU: GP102
  • Transistors: 12bn
  • CUDA Cores: 3584
  • Lithography: 16nm FinFET
  • Die Size: 471mm2
  • Base Clock: 1417 MHz
  • Boost Clock: 1531 MHz
  • Memory: GDDR5X
  • Memory Capacity: 12GB
  • Memory Bus: 384-bit

Just like the previous graphics card,  the Nvidia Titan x make use of the gddr5x Ram Technology to enhance the memory bandwidth over the standard gddr5 specifications. However, it fails to match the Pascal-based Nvidia P100 GPU’s specifications, which has an HBM2 stacked memory as well.

The GTX Titan X is rated at 250W, and it looks like the GPU extracts more power when compared to its previous GPU, even though it makes use of smaller transistor lithography.

Nvidia GTX Titan X Pascal Architecture

We were very excited to see the very first Pascal based GPU  from Nvidia in the form of P100 GPU. And now and media has taken it’s really powerful GPU out from the pro level graphic cards and have transferred into a more consumer-friendly GP102 Silicon based GPU unit.

the new Titan X or the GP102 makes use of the same 16nm FinFET lithography10 almost the same GPU layout as well.  The main difference is found in the memory subsystem which differs from the original Tesla P100 GPU. The P100 construct the video frame buffer out of the HBM2 memory along with the 4096-bit bus and data transfer rate of 540 GB per second as offered by the 12GB memory version. In addition to that, the P100 GPU was a lot bigger when compared to the new GP102 installed in the Titan X graphics card. This was because the P100 had to calculate prices figures during heavy mathematical calculations for engineering as well as scientific purposes and simulations. So, it would definitely need some more double precision processing cores to achieve what it was aimed for. However, the Titan X Pascal GPU is not targeting the same audience and totally focuses on the consumer’s gaming needs.

The GTX Titan on the other hand as the very first Pascal based professional GPU present inside it. It simply means that Nvidia has added 33% extra double precision cores along with the 2880 standard CUDA cores for excellent performance output.
With the Pascal architecture, they have parted their ways with the Titan and Quadro ranges thus offering double precision power in the P100 GPU and not offering any double precision power in GP102 at all.

This makes the new GP102 different from the Nvidia’s top pro-level GPUs as well as from the Quadro cards like Quadro P6000. However, Quadro P600 also has the same GP102 GPU installed in it but its chip has been filled with 30 streaming microprocessor thus offering higher CUDA cores to it. But the lack of 256 cores in the Titan X does not affect the gaming performance very much and you still get a better performance from GP102 silicon GPU at the same clock speed.

Nvidia GTX Titan X Pascal Performance

You do not have to be a gaming expert in order to tell that all those specifications and architectural design combine to offer a great unprecedented level of performance while playing modern as well as heavy games on your machine.

The best part about the new Nvidia Pascal Titan X card is that it offers great 4K performance, and that is also why the card is so highly priced when compared to other GPU units. It was the very first GPU unit that was able to run most of the modern games in 4K quality and that too at 60 frames per second. It was able to handle the 4K resolution for some games even at 80 frames per second as well.

However, if you are planning to install this GPU in your machine, you will have to make sure that your CPU that could work compatibility with the Titan X Pascal gaming card and allows it to stretch its legs as much as it can. If you have a very simple processor installed on your CPU, we recommend you to step them up to something with six or eight cores. But it finally comes to you, whether you would like to spend $1200 on the GPU and then again upgrade your CPU’s processor to something better. This will obviously cost you a lot. But as we have told before, this GPU is not for everyone and you should only get it if you are a gaming professional and prefer gaming experience over money.

You might get confused between the Pascal and Maxwell architecture based GPU, but the amount you pay for extra 4K gaming performance is worth the extra amount you are paying for Titan X Pascal graphics card. You can also get 4K performance from the GTX 1060 graphics card as well, but then you will be gaming at Ultra HD quality but at 30 frames per second and not at high frame rates. Ut on an overall, there is a huge difference in the 4K performance in Pascal and Maxwell architecture, where Pascal cards win by a huge margin.

The energy consumption is, however, a bit different in the Titan X Pascal graphics card. Both the Titan X graphics card, the current and the previous one are rated 250W, but, during our tests, we found that the Pascal-based GPU draws more power on an overall basis when compared with the previous ones. This is because of the difference in the transistor size. You get a 28nm transistor in the new Pascal GPU when compared to the old 16nm graphics card. This is why they are more efficient when compared to the old silicon GPUs.

The Titan X Pascal already runs on 50% more GPU frequency when compared to the standard specification. This is a huge boost when compared to the previous Titan X GPU. The new Pascal based card offers a 40% to 50% better frame rate as well and that too at 4K display settings and high detail. This should give you a good idea about the improvement that we get in the new graphics card over the previous one.

Nvidia GTX Titan X Pascal Verdict

There is no doubt in the fact that GTX Titan Pascal is one of the fastest graphics cards that we have right now. And why not? Nvidia did all the homework that they could in order to come up with the best so that no other competitor could touch that performance figure that they have set with this graphics card for some time now.

They also needed a huge difference in performance so that they could justify the huge price difference between both the GPU. The performance improvement has been achieved by them but still, the justification of such huge price is bugging a lot of gaming fans even then. Still, if you are planning to buy a Titan gaming GPU for your system, you definitely need to compare the price. The Titan X Pascal is around double the price when compared to the Nvidia GTX 1080, but at the same time, you get the 30-40 percent performance enhancement as well.  Now it comes to you, whether you require the best performance GPU for high cost or you compromise with the performance that you get with GTX 1080 since Titan X is the most expensive Titan GPU that they have ever released till date.
