The game basically comes in three different versions or editions as EA likes to call it.
- Standard Edition
- Champions Edition
- Ultimate Edition
Each of these editions have something different to offer. The Standard Edition is the most basic one that comes with bare minimum perks while the Champions and Ultimate Edition come with a few extra things. Let us compare all three editions one by one!
FIFA 19 Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition, as the name suggests, is the version with the highest number of perks. You get everything on the perk list that EA has decided and you can see everything below.
The Ultimate Edition gives you two Gold Packs per week and each of these gold packs will have 24 cards. You will be able to find gold cards and rares. But the number will be limited to only 7 rare players or consumables. You will also be able to choose from one of 5 players who is rated 80 to 83 from teams that qualified for UEFA Champions League.

FIFA 19 Champions Edition
Now, the Champions Edition costs $79.99 in the USA and this edition is where things get a little interesting. You get everything that the perk list has to offer but the difference between Champions Edition and Ultimate Edition is that you get lesser number of Gold Packs. Take a look at the list below to see what you’re going to get with the FIFA 19 Champions Edition.
You will get one Gold Pack a week over 20 weeks and each pack comes with 24 cards that will mostly be gold. You will only be able to find 7 rares which can be either players or other consumables. If you want to buy it without getting the Champions Edition, it will cost you 15,000 coins or 300 FIFA Points.
FIFA 19 Standard Edition
The FIFA 19 Standard Edition is the most basic edition you can buy. At pre-orders, the Standard Edition of FIFA 19 costs $59.99 in the US of A and comes with all the basic things. There is no 3 days early access perk here with Standard Edition but you do get the following.
You do not have access to Neymar Jr. in the standard edition. If you don’t plan on playing the Ultimate Team game mode, the Standard Edition should fulfill your needs and also save money for you.
The Champions and Ultimate Editions of the game give you more gold packs but keep in mind that you will only get one gold packs a week so in order to take full advantage of Champions or Ultimate Edition, you will need to wait as the Gold Packs will only be distributed weekly.
This makes up for a great option for people who aren’t really interested in Ultimate Team mode
This was a comparison of all three editions of the upcoming FIFA 19 game from EA. You can pre-order it right now from EA Sports website and have the 3 days early access perk so that you can start playing the game on 25th September while the game releases on 28th September 2018.
