The last Fortnite update, the Fortnite v4.5 came with a lot of new things and the Playground Limited Time Mode is one of them. The new Playground mode is aimed towards people who are new to the game and want to hone their skills before jumping into a full-fledged match.
The Playground mode will let you team up with people or play with your friends so you can try everything that the game has to offer. This new open sandbox mode will also help you by introducing more resources that you can capture, players who are eliminated will be respawned and more.
This post is about everything that the new Fortnite Playground mode has to offer and how you can use it to become better and grab those sweet Victory Royales when you play the battle royale mode.
A Squad of Four with A Time Limitation of 1 Hour
The Playground mode supports a squad of four players so you and three of your other friends will be able to join the mode for a maximum for 1 hour. You will be able to use the island as you want and build and play as you want. The resources will be maximized and the friendly fire will be on. But don’t worry, even if you kill one of your friends in the game, they will be respawned right away.
The Playground mode will be available to you for 1 hour which converts to 60 minutes. There will be no storm circle for the first 55 minutes but the last 5 minutes, the storm circle will start moving in and if a player is killed by the storm circle, they won’t be revived or respawned.
Weapons and Resources
When it comes to resources in the Playground mode, Fortnite makes sure that you have plenty. You will find 100 Loot Llamas on every island and the chest and ammo boxes are spawned all the time. You can gather wood, metal, and bricks 10 times more than the usual amount. You can see how easy Fortnite has made it in the Playground mode so you can practice and move to Battle Royale mode as soon as you want.
The Playground mode can be seen as a casual mode of the Battle Royale mode since the mode is built especially so that you can make your skills better and try various different crazy things before you can do them in the main Battle Royale mode.
The challenges have been turned off in the Playground mode so you won’t be able to complete your weekly challenges in this mode. Weekly challenges like searching the island, piling up a certain number of kills in a specific location and even following the treasure map won’t be counted in the Playground mode.
The Playground mode is a completely chill and calm mode for you to learn and have fun.
Practice Ideas for Fortnite Playground Mode
Here are a few ideas for you in order to practice and make yourself much more skilled in the game.
#1. Practice your aim with your friends as targets
Since friendly fire is on and the respawns are instant, you can easily get a proper rifle or a sniper and practice your aim on your friends. Have them jump and traverse through different areas so you get an idea on which kind of shot will work in order to kill an enemy in the battle royale mode. This is bound to increase your reflexes and make your aim better even if done for a few minutes every day.
#2. Hone your building skills
The resources are 100% all the time in the Playground LTM mode and hence you will never run out of resources. Just go ahead and make your building skills better in order to build the perfect fort while you are in a battle with someone in the battle royale mode.
You can always try different key binds and see how the building works in the game if you are new to Fornite.
This is everything you need to know about the Fortnite Playground LTM mode. Just go ahead, get into the Playground LTM mode with your friends and have fun!
