Most of you might not know but Post Malone is actually a very serious gamer. He has also been streaming on the Twitch lately and very few of us know about it. We don’t know if you know about the guy who built a custom PC for Terry Crews. But his name is JayZTwoCents, he built a crazy custom PC for Terry Crews already and now he is back again to help Post Malone build his very own gaming monster gaming machine.
The guy has its own channel on YouTube by the same name where you can find a lot of amazing PC related experiments that he has performed until now. Once you see those experiments, you won’t have any doubt about the person you need to get for a new custom PC built for you.
No doubt, Post Malone felt the same and contacted this guy who is planning a really sick PC for him. They have not started building the PC yet, but in the latest video uploaded by JayZTwoCents, he has laid out a lot of concept design ideas which look really strong.
Post Malone looks really excited in the video for his new PC and so are we. Obviously, the PC is going to relate somewhat to his upcoming album, “Beerbongs N’ Bentleys”, and also to his music or his character and love towards gaming in some or the other way. Let us have a look below on what Post Malone’s new custom gaming PC is going to look like.
The first thing that you will find while looking at the CPU is a strong tempered glass front piece which will also act as the water storage block that they are planning as a part of the cooling system for the custom PC. This outside shell along with the water block made of tempered glass will cost around $950 alone. Actually, the outer shell of this PC is alone costlier than many Gaming PCs available in the market at present.
Once they are done with the outermost shell, they are planning it to cover it with a yellow colored scheme. Yellow is also the color scheme for Post Malone’s upcoming, Beerbongs N’ Bentleys cover art.
Initially, JayZCents wanted to add the original Bentley grill on one side of the CPU case. However, Post Malone asked him to put a checked metal grill instead to get a more aesthetic feel from his machine. After a lot of discussions, they settled for a checkered metal style Bentley grill to be added on the front side of the CPU. This grill is going to cover one entire side of the CPU and will possess a small Bentley logo at the top. There is also going to be a small metal logo bearing Post Malone’s name at the bottom.
We already told you that the PC is going to have a water cooling system fitted in it. Post Malone actually wanted to have a liquid or water to be in yellow color. It is because he wanted it to represent his favorite drink, i.e. Bud Light. That is not all, JayZTwoCents is also looking for a method using which he could make the water froth up like a beer. He wishes to make the water look like beer as much as possible. You can see the concept image of the PC below.
After adding the tempered case, Bentley grill and beer like water coolant, JayZTwoCents was not done yet. He also wanted to incorporate barbwire in the PC in some way. Post Malone actually love the barbwire aesthetics. He loves it so much that he has one tattooed on his forehead. Not only that, the Barbed wire is a common theme in his new Beerbongs N’ Bentley album. They can add the barbed wired decals on the glass pane on the front display panel, as we see in the next image presented by JayZTwoCents.
We have been discussing the design on the custom PC as of now. But what about other specifications of the machine? Since the PC is still in the planning stage, we have very little information on what specifications the PC is going to possess.
The first mention regarding any hardware comes from JayZTwoCents video and he mentioned that he is planning to install two GPU units on the CPU. Looking at the water cooling, we expect a couple of high ranged GTX 1080s or maybe GPU 1080 TI units to handle the heavy gaming.
In the images that are shown above, one can also see 4 RAM sticks. It is possible that JayZTwoCents might want to go all the way for Post Malone’s PC by adding 64GB DDR4 RAM for GPU assistance.
There is still no news about the motherboard that they are planning to use in the Post Malone’s custom PC. But we are sure of one thing, the motherboard is also going to be from the premium class as well.
There won’t be anything to worry about the storage of the PC since Post Malone will definitely get 1-2TB of SSD storage along with 2 TB of standby HDD storage to store all the games that he wishes on the Hard Disks.
So, we have been talking a lot about the custom CPU and all the big components, but how much this CPU is going to cost? Well, since we still do not have all the info regarding the parts that they are going to use, we can just have a rough estimate of what the entire Gaming PC might cost Post Malone.
Looking at the different components, the customised case itself is going to cost them around $950. If they are using a couple of high end graphics card, they will have to spend an extra $2000-$2500 on it. If we look at one of the best CPU in the market, the i7-8700K CPU is going to cost $350 at least. The motherboard should be of high-end range as well so that it could handle the transmission of power over the entire parts efficiently. They will have to spend around $150 on a good motherboard. If they plan to put 64GB DDR4 RAM in their machine, they will have to spend $800 for it. There is no boundation on the storage space they can have on the machine, but each 1TB SSD is going to cost them around $250.
You also need to consider the extra and fancy water cooling system’s price as well. A typical and efficient water cooling system can cost from $300 to $1000. But taking the upper end in consideration we can expect that JayZTwoCent is going to get the best quality kit available out there.
The total cost estimate of Post Malone’s custom PC comes to around $6400. Check out the complete Post Malone PC design here.
