PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG is one of the most played games around the world. The game recently crossed the 400 million player mark and out of those 50 million come from PC and Xbox One. Looking at all these numbers, PUBG Corp, the developer of the game announced the Events Pass for the PC version of the game.
The Event Pass will let the players unlock various different items for customization of their in game characters. This pass will work completely differently from the current lootcrate system that already exists inside the game.
The new Event Pass emulates and copies Fortnite’s Battle Pass and the players will be able to complete missions to claim more and more customization items in-game. For people who don’t choose to buy the Event Pass, they will still be able to complete these missions but they won’t get any rewards for doing so. The access to the cosmetic items will be temporary.
The new map for PUBG will be launched on June 22, 2018, and it is called the Sanhok map. The Event Pass will be launched alongside this map and gamers will be able to buy the Event Pass for $9.99. You can check official details about the map and the Event Pass at PUBG’s Sanhok Page.
